The interest for the second European seminar for Special Needs Judo is beyond the expectations of the organizers. 52 Students are attending at this seminar, which contains in the morning a practical episode. By joining the clinics of the Special Needs Judokas, the participants of the seminar will meet and greet the peer group. For some of the students it will be their first acquaintance with Special Needs Judokas. The organizers are sure that this will be a thrill for life, because the majority of SN Judokas are captivating and open for all. After lunch, the students will be divided in three groups. Each group will be following three lectures of 15 minutes. The subjects are:

  1. Organization, training and coaching
  2. Divisioning and levels in SN Judo
  3. Guiding lines and practical tips for training and coaching

After the break, the three groups will be splited again in three smaller groups.

Each small group will get an assignment to prepare a training session, which will be executed by the other student groups.

The meaning of this is to offer the students as much practice and background as possible, about the issue: Training and coaching.

It is possible to stay overnight and observe the competition the next day. There will be approximately 300 SN judokas competing in the event. The judokas come from all over Europe (England, Wales, Scotland, Sweden, Finland, Belgium, Germany, Andorra, Australia).

The participants of the seminar are coming from England, Scotland, Sweden, Finland, Belgium, Germany, Andorra, Greece, Ireland, Australia and the Netherlands.

It is a pity that some coaches are not attending on the annual seminar, because this is an excellent opportunity to come to uniformity in SN Judo, especially in Europe. Even coaches who proclaim to work for many years with SN judokas, are welcome to come and share their expertise and learn from the other coaches.
